We are happy to announce the launch of Playdate at Spark, as a soft launch of our new space! This is a two-hour private playtime available for up to 30 visitors. You will have the
entire Spark facility to use for this reserved time. These playdates are available beginning July 30, 2020. More information on available dates and times to be announced the week of July 13th.
The Playdate at Spark invites you to experience our new space while allowing us to adhere to the CDC and State of Minnesota guidelines for cleanliness and safety. We have implemented a rigid cleaning schedule and are training our staff on the latest guidelines and safety measures. At this time, all visitors and staff will be required to wears masks in accordance with the City of Rochester’s declaration. We will do a thorough cleaning of the space between each Playdate session.
The Playdates are available for a rental rate of $250 for members and $300 for non-members, which includes admission for up to 30 people with a suggested ratio of 1 adult for every 4 children. Both individuals and organizations can reserve these playdates. This could be a playdate for a group of friends, family, co-workers, birthday party, or even as a thank-you gift.
Although we had anticipated being able to open at full capacity, for the safety of our guests, we are limiting the total amount of visitors as we begin opening to the public. Therefore, we have come up with various opportunities in the hope of welcoming our members, staff, and new visitors into the space as much as we are able. We want to enjoy our space in several different ways, and we look forward to launching new opportunities and additional open times soon. We are doing our best to provide safe access and realize these playdates may not be ideal for everyone. We will continue exploring options that are equitable, safe, and accommodating. This is just our first step in welcoming our visitors and members to experience Spark!
